How to make your friend your Friend.
When there's tension between friends, things happen. Trust is lost, there's no more freedom and everybody treads lightly and carefully around each other. So what can be done to restore that balance and equilibrium? The solutions are treated below:
Every form of friendship is a relationship but people tend to separate the two. Your friends should be treated in the same or almost the same manner in which your partner or spouse is treated in terms of respect.
1. Apologise: whether you're wrong or right, and you see that the friendship is being strained, be the bigger man and say I'm sorry.
2. Listen: be attentive and listen to her problems. Don't always talk and make everything about you.
3. Confide: this gives your friend the idea and impression that you trust her. This could in turn make her confide in you.
4.Appreciate: no matter how little what she did is, say thanks. It's a nice feeling.
